Be part of the 2019 AIDS Walk on June 1, OC Pride on June 22
June will bring several ways to demonstrate IUCC’s commitment to social justice and being an open and affirming congregation.
Volunteers are needed for OC Pride’s annual parade and festival on Saturday, June 22, in downtown Santa Ana. We’ll have a booth, and this year we’ll have temporary tattoos of a rainbow comma and small knit or crocheted hearts to hand out to participants. Look for the sign-up sheet on the patio or contact Cindy O’Dell at email@example.com to be part of the festivities.
If you can’t be there on June 22, you can still contribute by knitting or crocheting those hearts with any color yarn you have. Here are instructions for crocheting.
Make a magic circle, also known as a reverse slip knot. (Search YouTube or find your nearest current or former Scout).
