Hello and welcome to IUCC!

If you are a young person in your 20s or 30s, our Bread for the Journey (BFJ) group might be for you! Created in 2011, BFJ has seen a few different models, beginning as an alternative worship service and then moving into a discussion group. BFJ is always trying to provide the best setting for young adults to create community.

We currently gather on the first Tuesday of every month for discussion and a meal provided by the church. We have covered immigration, climate change, and other social and political issues. We also discuss how we as young Christians can affect change in our world and how we can strive to work with people of different faiths or no faith.

Additionally, we meet twice a month (on the second and fourth Sundays) for lunch after church at about 12:15.

This group provides a place for young people to find support during joyful and challenging times in life and serves as a place for spiritual development and bible study.

If this sounds like something that might interest you, please join us on a Tuesday night for discussion, a Sunday morning for worship, or Sunday afternoon for lunch. We look forward to meeting you!
