Safety & Security Training

  • Peace Room 4915 Alton Parkway Irvine, CA, 92604 United States (map)

In light of our previous discussions on security training, we are pleased to announce a crucial opportunity to enhance our preparedness for unforeseen situations. Despite not experiencing any physical threats to our church campus thus far, it is essential that we remain proactive in ensuring the safety of our community.

Acknowledging the current global climate and incidents of violence affecting schools and churches, I sought guidance from Assistant Pastor Craig on addressing security concerns at IUCC.

On Wednesday, February 21st, from 10 am to noon in the Peace Room, Officer Rick Gramer from the Irvine PD will lead a "tabletop exercise." This exercise offers us the chance to collaboratively discuss response strategies to a simulated emergency created by Officer Gramer. The objective is to identify and activate the safety/security systems in place at IUCC, addressing any vulnerabilities we may perceive.

Your participation in this activity is crucial. It provides an invaluable opportunity to strengthen our community's preparedness and response capabilities. Please make every effort to attend, as together, we aim to ensure the safety and security of our IUCC family.

Thank you for your commitment to the well-being of our community.
