Visiting IUCC

At IUCC, you’ll find a vibrant, welcoming congregation committed to faith that is thoughtful, justice-seeking, and joyfully inclusive. We gather every Sunday for worship at 9:30am and 11:15am, with service both online and offline, creating space for authentic community and meaningful preaching that connects our ancient faith with the real needs of today’s world. On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate Open Communion, because we believe Christ’s table is wide and love is not limited.

As a progressive Christian church, we are likewise proud to have supported the LGBTQ+ community for over 30 years. From community work to participation in leadership, we strive to be a safe and affirming spiritual home where all are loved and valued exactly as they are. Each week, we say what we truly believe: “Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.”

Families and young people are just as well an essential part of our life and ministry here! Our Ministry with Young People offers Sunday School, youth gatherings, young adult events, and groups for every age group focused on fellowship, acceptance, formation, and fun. Whether you’re a parent looking for an inclusive community of practical faith for your child, or a young adult looking for a new adventure, IUCC is the perfect space for you to be!
