Youth Sunday
Youth lead Sunday services on June 1st!
A portion of Sunday School each week of May will be dedicated to working with the kids on visioning and executing this event. There will be both speaking and non-speaking roles available.

We offer two Sunday services: a Traditional Service at 9:30 a.m. and a Contemporary Service at 11:15 a.m. Adult Sunday School is offered during the 11:15 a.m. service. The traditional service features our amazing Chancel Choir singing wonderful anthems tied to the morning’s theme. The contemporary service is more casual, led by an energetic praise group composed of our choral interns. We welcome you to come as you are and dress according to your personal style.
Sunday services typically include: information about church events, music, prayer, meditation, and a message from the pastor. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, and everyone is welcome to partake. Our services are also streamed live on Facebook.

Parents and Guardians Comma Group
Calling all parents and guardians! The Parents Comma Group is meeting on 2nd Sundays (well in this case the first Sunday!) and sharing a meal together over lunch. Childcare is provided at IUCC

No Other Land Film Screening
Join us for a powerful screening of the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land, hosted by IUCC’s Advocates for Peace and Justice. Created by a Palestinian-Israeli collective, the film follows the destruction of the West Bank’s Masafer Yatta and the unlikely friendship that forms between Palestinian activist Basel and Israeli journalist Yuval.
Told through intimate footage and on-the-ground storytelling, No Other Land offers a rare and humanizing window into life under occupation—and the courage it takes to resist together.
Stay after the screening for a community discussion on justice, solidarity, and what it means to bear witness.
This film has been distributed globally but still lacks a major U.S. distributor. Don’t miss this opportunity to see and discuss it in community.

IUCC is heading back to the ballpark for Pride Night 2025 with the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday, June 10 — and you're invited! Celebrate love, inclusion, and the joy of baseball as the Angels take on the A's at 6:38pm.

Call Her Ganda Film Screening
Join Guerrero and IUCC’s DEI Ministry for a powerful screening of Call Her Ganda, a documentary that follows the pursuit of justice for Jennifer Laude, a Filipina trans woman murdered by a U.S. Marine.
The film explores the intersections of gender, colonialism, and justice through the eyes of three women fighting for accountability and dignity.
This Pride Month, come stand in solidarity with LGBTQ+ and Filipinx communities in their ongoing struggle against racial and gendered violence. Stay after the film for a thoughtful discussion on how we can respond with compassion and courage.

🎨Celebrate the artists, makers, and creative spirits who inspire our community! Creativity Sunday lifts up the beauty of human imagination — from painting and pottery to poetry, baking, and beyond.
🎭During worship, Pastor Craig will preach on The Gospel of Theatre — offering a message rooted in storytelling and sacred creativity, drawing from his own journey as a theatre artist and pastor.

PAAM Sunday at IUCC
Join us for a joyful and meaningful celebration of Pacific Islander & Asian American Ministries (PAAM) Sunday as we honor the rich cultural heritage and profound contributions of our Asian and Pacific Islander siblings within the United Church of Christ.
Voted into existence at the 10th General Synod in 1975, PAAM is the UCC’s recognized ministry for Pacific Islanders and Asian Americans, advocating for justice, leadership, and visibility across the life of the church.
We are thrilled to welcome our Marshallese UCC siblings, who will join us for worship, with their youth offering a special cultural performance of music, dance, and tradition—part of a heartfelt Cultural Night they are preparing just for IUCC.
Preaching from the pulpit will be IUCC’s very own Dustin Nguyen, delivering a powerful and rousing sermon on the theme of empire—a timely reflection grounded in justice and faith.

Calling all middle and high schoolers to enjoy each other's company as we walk to the Woodbridge Village Center and enjoy pizza, ice cream, and intentional conversation. Parents should drop off and pick up at the church. Make sure to bring money for dinner!

MYP Hosts Coffee Hour
MYP is giving back to the IUCC community by hosting the coffee hour. You can help by bringing a treat, helping with set up, hosting during coffee hour or cleaning up! If you are bringing a treat please drop it off before 10:00AM to Plumer Hall. It is a fun way to enjoy time together and always fun excuse to make or buy something you'd like to enjoy!

Maundy Thursday
Join us for an immersive theatrical telling of the Last Supper for our Maundy Thursday service on April 17, 2025, at 7:00 PM.
It will be a sacred experience with the Chancel choir, guest celloist Inwoo Su, and professional actors remembering the events of the Last Supper!
Through this modern adaptation of liturgical drama, IUCC invites the community to witness the story of Jesus and his disciples in a way that is both historically rooted and profoundly relevant today.

YA Easter Egg Decorating
Young Adults - Continuing in last year's tradition, the young adults will be stuffing eggs with candy and decorating them using paint markers in preparation for the children's Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday! Come bring out your artsy side and have a good time bonding with fellow YAs, all the while helping out the kids!
Note: We'll also be enlisting the YAs to help in hiding the eggs on the morning of Easter Sunday!
