IUCC Women’s Retreat: “Renewing Hope”
May 2–4, 2025 (deadline April 16, 2025)
Registration begins Sunday, March 16!
Join us for a meaningful and rejuvenating weekend at Pilgrim Pines Camp! All women are invited. Together, we’ll explore the theological, spiritual, personal, and even political foundations of hope in these unique times.
Inspired by the work of historian and activist Rebecca Solnit, theologian Richard Rohr, journalist Margaret Renkl, and Scripture, this retreat will be a safe space to share our experiences as we seek to renew hope and faith in the world.
Meet Our Retreat Leader:
This year's retreat will be led by Rev. Kate Forer, a recent transplant to California from New York. Kate, a Duke Divinity School graduate and ordained UCC pastor, has served churches in Connecticut, North Carolina, and most recently Saratoga Springs, NY. She and her family moved to Orange County in 2023, and she is currently working as a pastoral counselor and spiritual director.
What to Expect:
Engaging general sessions
Hands-on workshops
Small group discussions
Personal reflection time
The serene and rejuvenating environment of Pilgrim Pines in the San Bernardino Mountains
