P.I.E Day

The Stephen Ministry as part of their continuing education series has invited executive director of Affirming Connections, Pam Rocker, to host a roundtable discussion focused on the Public, Intentional, and Explicit work of being an Open & Affirming Congregation (P.I.E). Recognizing and embodying the power of listening, the Stephen Ministry is holding safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community to share personal experiences. Experience LGBTQIA+ stories to inform and elucidate the world we hope to create. Beyond becoming Affirming, what does being an Affirming Congregation look and feel like, and how can we all be a part of creating that environment? Bring your curiosity and join us for a 45-minute roundtable followed by a Q&A while enjoying a light lunch and delicious pie. All are welcome!
